Nice site, it's helpful to me since I can't play EV very often so I can't check the stats.

Yeah, add ship and weapon stats and that site would be awesome. As it is it's still good, I can't find anywhere on the EV site where they list all the ships, so I'l just use your page.

The Ambrosia Website doesn't have an area with ship stats and such (they should), which is precisely why I built my own website with weapons and ships. The only other websites I've seen with ship and outfit info are Nova6's Headquarters, and EVula's website.

EVula- I just took a swing by your site again. You've got plenty of good information on just about anything. As for your "borrowing" ( ;)), feel free to steel any info you like from my old EV pages if you care.
Actually, the content for the EV ships and weapons is the basis for those sections in the EV Survival Guide. Its as good as it gets, sorry.

Cool site EVula. Reb Destroyer for 2.8 Mil? Fed Frigate for 5 mil? Those are both bargains.

Although the Rebel Destroyer is clearly a better ship, the AI doesn't maximize its speed. Therefore, whoever fires off the first torpedo will win.

In a test I did a few months ago, I edited EV with ResEdit to put one 'Fed Frigate and one Rebel Destroyer in Sol every time the player entered the system. I watched the two warships fight twenty times, and the Rebel Desyroyer won thirteen of those fights. I was a little surprised to see the Rebel Destroyer lead the test with a 65% winning percentage...
But as you said, I believe it does all boil down to whoever gets the first torpedo off. During two of the battles I watched between the Destroyer and Frigate, both ships were disabled because they fired the first torpedo at the same time.
