Can you actually beat the game? Is there some sort of ending? I've done the alien quest, the tractor mission, and have done most of the rebel missions, and taken over more then half the galaxy. So can you beat it? Do you win by taking over earth? Also, are there Lethean/Cydonian missions? And whats the forklift? thanks,

The forklift is a che-, wait, easter egg. It tracks just like a torpedo but is much more destructive. It acts like a nuke. I think 6, give or take, will disable a confed cruiser.

There are Lethe/Aries missions, but they have no plot, just defending one planet from the other. And, don't use the forklift. There are a number of threads on the board here where you can find how to get it, but I don't recommend it. It's super-powerful, wrecks the game balance, and will really hurt your piloting skill, something you won't have enough of when Nova comes out. And Insano, it tracks like a Missile, not a torpedo.

No, no, no! It looks like a friggin Forklift! I bet you guys never tried it out. To get it, click the EV logo on the top while holding option. than when the whol dialogue ends, press control-shift-option-apple-F at the same time, you here this weird song, than your current pilot gets the most ultimate weapen. Of course, i'm anti-cheat myself, only used it once too take out a corvette in a single shot...

If you look in the wëap resource, you'll find that Missiles and Forklifts are of guidance type 2, and Torpedoes of type 1. I rest my case.
