To Macavenger: I can't mail you until I have your adress. Do you have any ideas on Alien culture? Do they have an Imperial structure,organised anarchy,communism,democracy,clam structure or what?

Sattomax, tehcnology research works different in this thread. Basically, once you have graphics and stats ready for it, it's researched. The limit is one per page, to keep things from getting out of control. So the X-Rapier is in fact available, there have already been some fights with it.

Ah, I was assuming you knew how to get members email, which I suppose was a bit presumptious since you haven't registered. To get a members email address (unless they have chosen not to reveal it), you can clikc the email button in the bar above a member's posts. I also recently added mine to my signature. Alien Culture: I haven't though to much about this. I guess we're imperial, since Skyblade has reffered to us as an empire. Why do you need to know?
Both of you, for the future, if you could post stuff like this on the new discussion topic, that would be better. KK mentioned above that this one is getting a little slow, so let's try to save it for new posters to the thread. Not making it much longer will also be good for poor Janus. I would assume he would want to know for command hierarchy. Also, that you make the alien leader an emperor.

I'd like to join in, but I'd prefer to be an espionage agent rather than a fleet commander. I'm going to be on the alien's side. Anybody have an idea how I could get this to work out with the more fleet-based action in the thread?

Sorry, but the rules don't allow for spies. Maybe in BFS III? You sure you don't want to be a fleet commander?

Fleet commander is really the only position oopen at this point, unless you have 3d modelling experience, in which case you could be pirate ship and weapons builder.

Heh, I squashed on the pirates a little in the first battle of Levo, which got deleted. They know I'm here. I'm just as happy is they only go after you, though - you can beat each other to pieces, and I can pick them up.
