Just for your information, Hector is there as soon as you start the game for the very first time. I have not gone past the trial period and Hector still comes after me all the time.

Anyway, before I got the game on my home computer (which was a LONG time ago), I was obsessed with killing him, mainly because I couldn't hit him. I can't tell you how bothersome that was.

Cap'n Hector NEVER attacks me, nnor does he do anything an annoying (besides telling me to register). I still haven't and its been 155 days since I threw out my last copy of Ev and got a new one. (restarts the process, heh heh heh) but he doesn't do anything, at least, not untill I go into his pilot file in Shmelta V and make him be able to be hit (heh, heh, heh again), but how do ya get him to attack you or say stuff like "Do you like toothpaste" or "Polly want a cracker?" (Yes, I look through stuff in ResEdit). Could someonre tell me?
I dunno how you get him to do that. He stopped saying do you like toothpaste. :frown:
