Basilisk II

I've read some posts concerning the mac emulator Basilisk II and found out to my dismay it requires a 68k mac rom. Is it possible that anyone could send me a copy of their rom? I have a 68k mac ( it's really old, Performa mac ) , but I don't have a monitor for it any longer so I can't just plug it in and put the rom on a disk. I'd really appreciate it if someone could send me their rom or give me another suggestion.

By the way, I've already tried Executor and it didn't work for me, much too sluggish, I don't think my machine is fast enough using Executor.

My computer is a:
500 mhz K-6 II proccessor
128 megs of RAM
TNT2 M64 PCI video card
SBLive! X-Gamer sound card

Thanks 😃

Actually, I have a ROM now. Does anyone have a link for the site that tells you how to run EV on the PC using Executor? And can anyone walk me through it using Basilisk? ( I can't figure Basilisk out )

This site gives instructions on using EV with Executor (it also has instructions on using EVO with Executor on the same site).

This gives you step by step instructions in setting up Basilisk with System 7.5.3

This has general information on different mac emulators. It also allows you to download System 7.6.1 and a Quadra ROM (although you should only download the ROM if you own a Quadra or similar mac).

Juggernaut, why do you want Basilisk? If you've got an iMac then you don't need a Mac emulator, and besides Basilisk runs on PC's (although there may be versions for other computers)!

Of course the best option is just to buy a Mac 🙂
