I was playing a Star Wars plug, and I named my Correllian Freighter the "Bicentennial Eagle". So, is that a really cheesy idea?

Quick update: I bought a Gunship(roughly equivalent to a Kestrel) and named it the "Quarterly Pidgeon", like I said. Speaking of which, that gives me an idea..."Daily Kestrel"?
And I wish EV let you rename your ship, though I suppose it makes sense that you can't because it's like when you see in all the movies and they christen the ship, and no one even thinks about changing the name from then on, so it's a good reason, really...
this doesn't really have anything to do with time or birds, but recently i've grown fond of the name Fuer girssa ost drauka. Problem is, too long, so i end up having to make it Fuergrissaostdrauka. Heh, it means, bringer of death....

Cool name...what language is that anyways? Sound like a mix of Spanish or Norwegian, but I'm certainly no judge of languages(heck, I don't even know when someone's speaking English!).
Actually i'm not really sure what language it is, because it game from a book i read. In the book it was just some ancient dead language called High D'Haran, but D'Hara (i think thats the right sp) was a nation in the book, so i'm not really sure if the author had any specific name in mind.

It is possible to rename your ship. You just open your pilot file in ResEdit, open the Mpďl resources (or Opďl resource in Override), select the one which is named after your ship, rename it, and save.

If it's a real language, it's definitely not Spanish. Looks closer to German than anything to me.
