i thought i saw it once at a planet but i don't remember which one. I just relized that my cruiser only has 3 turrets and it can hold 5, it made my day.

There is no Neutron turret in the EV universe. However, some plugins do add one, such as Galactic Scourge (a cool plugin, by the way). What you probably saw was both a Neutron cannon and a Proton turret quickly, and your brain interpreted it as a Neutron turret (I'm not saying that you're stupid, just that if you see things quickly your brain can accidentally blend the two sights).

The standard EV scenario has no neutron turret. However, many plugins including Galactic Scourge, Pale (the best EV plugin ever made), and Talon add a neutron turret.

I "made" a neutron turret. But it isn't very efficient (too slow).

If IΒ΄m not entirely wrong, there is a Neutron turret in EV Expander 1.0u 2... But its sucks pretty hard, the firing distance is too small.. You cant do the Monty Python with it..

I think that there should be a Neutron Turret, an efficient one, in the game, even though I know there isn't, for I have been on every planet and dominated them, but you know.

Sounds cool but as far as I can see turrets tend to weigh in at 3 to four times the weight of the gun putting a neutron turret at a hefty 150+ tons. Still I dont see why a cunning engineer (or res-edited) couldn't make on at say 100 tons (laser turret - two laser cannons + two neuton cannons = 100 tons). Still a bit heavy for me though.

Theres no point in making the turret because the cannon fires so slowly the shots will lag behind the target!

what are you talking about! the cannon weighs 32 tons. add 40 for the mound that's 72. add another cannon, and that is 104 tons. i sort of made one with evedit (but it was with the mass driver). i only said it was rapid fire and it was a turret, then it created the turret. this isn't a good idea for the neutron cannon 'cos the feds would have it too.

The monty python is a manouver that plays on a bug in EV.
Its something you probably use yourself, but don't know the name of it.
