It seems unlikely. The plugin itself is quite old, and I haven't seen any posts by the author in several years.

There was talk of an update (possibly for EV:O - I don't recall) back on the old EV board, but I haven't heard anything in quite a while. AFAIK, the only thing left to do on the new version was update the missions, but I think the project is dead in the water.

EVGE (EV game Expander) is a great plug-in, rather large, but hey, it's got about <many> new systems, ships, outfits, and missions. Oh, I nearly forgot the new governments. You should be able to download it (url="http://"http://www.http://www.ambrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/vftp/show.pl?product=ev&category;=plugins&display;=name&page;=3")here(/url). It comes with the name 'EV Game Expander 1.0u2'. I strongly recommend.
