Why is it when..I go to that Oct refueling station....and accept all of her missions..and when I leave..I am left with NO WHERE TO JUMP...Not even back to Human just locked in there..Whats going on
you are not allowed to go back to human space for a while. Land at the fuel station, leave again, then use the hyper select key ("/" i think) to choose the destination. One of the missions will disappear when you do the land/launch thing.

Cool picture!
On the map, you can see a line pointing Northwest from AMS 74. That means there is a system that you can jump to, but you cannot use the map to select it.
In the game where you can see your ship, set navigation to hyperspace mode (press h). Under your radar screen, you will see "Hyperspace No Destination". Then use the hyper select key to cycle through the possible jump destinations. The names of the possible destinations will replace the "No Destination" as you press the hyper select key. In this case there is only one possible destination, "unexplored system".
Check the EV prefs (available in the opening screen) for which key is the hyper select key. I think it is / but it may be or you may have redefined it.
In the docs, the author claims he did this (and other wierdness you will encounter later) deliberately to reflect the difficulty of navigation in the nebula.

Hello! EV is not consistent with how it displays new systems that appear on the map once certain mission bits set or clear. When making travel through systems ONE-WAY, as in the WORMHOLE systems, this will occur. That is simply one of the quirks of EV. Some systems are replaced up to four times to make subttle (or not so subttle) changes occur, like the vastly accellerated evolution of the giant star Mugabi Ra, which has four seperate stages/appearances as it evolves. Each time, the "Mugabi" system comes onto the map as an "unexplored system," which is a little invite for players to witness the evolution. Thank-you to Magicianeer for answering expertly. This question is extensively covered in the supplied DOCS of M&D; also. I hope I haven't spoiled any surprises for you, MacGP!! Cheers, Gandalf
