Am I the only person who has fought hard against the aliens while working for the Confeds, braved Rebel blockades, hunted down ship ten times my size, only to find that when the Confeds say "our ships are available to you at Luna" that Luna DOESN'T HAVE A SHIPYARD!
I'm playing the first version of Escape Velocity, I think, but what on earth is going on???
I'm a Rebel fan all the way, but I can't even GET Confed ships..........

yes you are the only one who likes the 'feds. you should check the icon to see what version you have, but in 1.0.5 Luna does have a shipyard(its small but there is one)

The question is still up. My version is earlier than 1.0.5, and I want to know if anyone else with an early version has this problem.

This is a well-known bug in early versions of Escape Velocity. If you download the upgrade to 1.0.5, the Luna shipyard should reappear.

Exactly. One of the best things about the EV games is that they allow you to choose your side, rather than blindly listening to the makers telling you who are the "good guys" and the "bad guys." Sometime I'm going to write a historical perspective that eaxmines the formation of the Confederation and the Rebellion in a more objective manner than the intro text.

Thanks. I always end up playing either EV or EVO on version 1.0.0, because I either get it from a MacFormat CD or get it as soon as possible.
Now, all I need is a Mac. :frown: - My grandad moaned that EV/EVO messed up his computer.
