How do you/where do you, begin the Rebel Mission Line? Please Help.

If you want to start the rebel missions, then the first thing that you have to do is get the courier mission that the rebels will offer you. I found mine at the bar in New Scotland, but, you can get it at any independent or rebel pilot. You'll know it when you see, because a rebel operative will approach you and ask if you want to do a courier mission. The confed missions start the same, so make sure that you look at which government is offering you the mission. Take the mission, do it, and then go about and get a better ship, at least a corvette. Get a good combat rating, and then hang around northern rebel space (palshife etc.) and you'll get the special ops mission, and the astrodyne station mission. However, the alien mission will be available from Sirgil only. Whilst you're looking for these missions, you'll get the small missions; assasinate fed VIPs, destroy convoys and protect systems. Also, you'll find early on that there'll be a mission in the mission computer to evacuate civilians to another system. And the Diphidia II missions might help too. Happy hunting.
