Actually, you passed it on your way here. The game is called EV Nova; it is under development as we speak. Use the "Hop to" feature at the bottom of this page and select "EV Nova web board," then click "Go." You'll find as much info on EVN as you can stand.

The name of the third edition of EV is 'Escape Velocity Nova', like the second edition was called 'Escape Velocity Override'.
