I put a plug-in in the folder, and started up the game. But everytime I try, it freezes while the game is loading. What should I do to fix that?

Try increasing the amount of memory allocated to EV. If you have Virtual Memory on, turn it off if you can. This should do for starters.

Freezes are usually caused by incorrect spin resources, as a fault of the plug.
