Anyone else notice...

...how every now and then, on the EV add-ons page, all the plugs rated in the 'top ten' panel suddenly take a nose-dive, all at the same time?

If I were being cynical, I'd say that fowl play was afoot.

I dont look at the top-ten, its always wrong, i look at the top ten dowloaded, they are right.

It's very simple if you're talking about the top rated plugs. If a developer posts a plug and rates it a 5, it gets to the top of the list. But when a user posts a lower score (Say, 2), it gets knocked down to the lower end of the list. Understand?

Yyyyyyyeeeees, I got that bit, surly that is the whole point in the rating proccess. Someone gives a plug a good rating, its average rating goes up. The invers is true for a bad rating.

My point is that every now and then, ALL of them drop a point or too at the same time, just as a new one appires at the top...

DeathVal, the problem with only looking at the Top10 dowloads is that many of those units are just as a result of people automaticaly downloading them just to see what they are, they might have a realy cool title perhaps, or even a realy good write-up. Many of the plugs that have a high download rating are only there due to the fact that they were on the top10 best rated thing to start with.

Having said this, the top10 downloads are actualy, more offten than not, very good. I just think it's daft to ignore other people's oppinions.
