Frozen Heart: Help please?

I'm playing Frozen Heart (and gotten farther then ever before!) but now I'm stuck.

I've completed the Tachnonic/IFF rack/he dies set, but can't find the killer. The last mission was 'take the survivor to New Venus'. Devore is now New Devore, I have completed the Galak Tech set of missions (ending with the huge fleet of ships I had to escape). I have completed the democracty missions (up to the 'deliver parcels' mission + a speech) and I've got the escort group up to 'destroy 3 falcons'. Can anybody offer any suggestions, besides to complete the rest of the escort missions?

"I've taken the disperser out of the loop and run the cables through the initiator power intake on the engine power system. The feedback energy is just accumulating in the repulsor system. When the power level is high enough, I'll reset the feedback power breaker and dump the energy right into the initiator intake on the engine power systems."

There's an EV Frozen Heart, it's just not as good as the EVO version from what I hear.
