How do you get the tractor beam? What mission is it? By who? Where? And what combat rating do you need to have?

You must complete the Rebel Commando missions first though. And probably the weapon distribution missions too.

I think it starts on Palshife or Clotho Prime and your combat rating i think needs to be Ultimate or Deadly

Well, I'm roaming the galaxy in my rebel cruiser, I have conquered all but two Confederate systems (Sol-I only have Mars and the secret weapons facility) and my combat rating is Ultimate.

Well you can use the EV Cheater plugin, and if you do not like it's cheats or it, just quickly use it to get the Tractor beam then trash it.Do not worry about money in it, it only costs about 98CR.Or complete about a ton of rebel offical missions and hang around in rebel spaceport bars, best maybe in satori palshife or clotho, but it's defintly a Rebel mission. good luck.
Not really a dumb question. I myself forgot about it too but I followed the rebel string and got it. Hmm, goes to show you how nice people on the boards can be.

Well it is in the addons section, or you can visit the Galactic Scourge web site (see .sig), or you can send me an email and I will give you an address where you can send a blank CD or zip disk with a SASE and I will mail it to you.
P.S. The Capture Hector mission is in any Confed bar at the 5% level. The tractor can be gotten via the GS New Cydonia series, or the standard Astrodyne EV method.
