Tilemaps

OK, I figured out how to use images to create FG tilemaps. Now, how do you create BG tilemaps?

I don't know, I've been doing it by hand. It's probably the same way though.

I've been doing it by hand too, just because I can't get the control I want by designing it in a graphic editor. I would guess you just create a B&W; bitmap image with the demensions of your level. Black is where you fill in the background tiles. It would probably just use the basic tiles. So if you wanted water, you would have to change that in the editor.

I want to know if you can create water, zirdium, and acid where you want it to be. I too used to do it by hand, but now I use the tilemaps.
