Playing EV & EVO on a Powerbook

I'm new to using Macs so if I'm asking a realy stoopid question please forgive me.
I've been getting into EV & EVO on my powerbook 3400c - the only problem is tht it only allows me to press 2 keys simultaneously - so in the heat of battle manouvering, firing lazers, operating afterburners and dropping flares , at the same time is impossible and results in many untimely deaths (mine) and much cursing - anyone know how I fix this?

Hmmm. I had a PowerBook before but it got stolen (****ing thieves) and I didnt have problems when I played EV and EVO. Consult el presidente (andrew, not Andrew M) and remember, every time he enters a board, bow when he give you a message. Alright....

I use a powerbook 3400cs and haven't noticed anything. Hmm, I think I'll try it out later.

Here is what I did on a G3 Powerbook: remap your keys so the most commonly used simultaneous keys (based on your playing style) are mapped to **** keys, like Control, Option, Shift, or Command. The Powerbook keyboards can handle simultaneous presses of these keys more easily than normal keys.

In my case, I only remapped autopilot from R to Control. Sounds like you might want to remap afterburner instead.

I use a G3 Powerbook and have never had any problems, I customised all the key mapping though e.g. Control is select secondry, command is fire secondry, c is communicate etc. etc.
