I was just wondering if anybody was researching the science of the game, like how much damage X weapon does, how much faster the Shield Booster helps your recharge rate, how much more armor Tritanium adds to your current armor, etc.
I think it would be very interesting to get some numbers on those things up there and some other pieces of data. Anybody know anyone who is currently doing this?

I can't think of anyone who is doing this because all that information can be easily found through ResEdit. There are Ship and Outfit guides for EVO by Adrian Turkington, but I don't know of any that have been made or are in progress for EV.
------------------ One cannot walk down an avenue, converse with a friend, enter a building, browse beneath the sandstone arches of old towns without meeting with an instrument of time.
Time is visible in all places.
Clock towers, wristwatches, church bells divide years into months, months into days, days into hours, hours into seconds, each increment of time marching after the other in perfect succession. And beyond any particular clock, a vast scaffold of time, stretching across the universe, lays down the law of time equally for all.
In this world, a second is a second is a second.
Time moves forward with unwavering regularity.
Time is an infinite ruler.
Time is absolute.

Once upon a time and space, you could find exactly this type of information on the old EV.com site. No, this info did not make it to the current incarnation of the site. Yes, it would be interesting and helpful. But instead of complaining about it further--which I could, mind you--I think I'll just do it myself. When all is done, I'll let you know...
