Look, I am sorry that I am a newbie but I saw a rebel destroyer with a S.S. name (i dont recall the name. It started with a c) and it got in a fight with a frigate. It shot these tiny gray wepons. What were these wepons and where can I get some of them (if it's possible). Now that I am asking a question, does any one know where red beard the argosy pirate with the hawks hangs out. tiny gray weapons sound like mass driver slugs. they're tech 4 i think, you can find 'em on any hi-techie object

I don't think the mass driver is worth it, anyway. The slugs are slow, the rate of fire is low, and the damage rating is small. Plugs like FB and Bounty Plus upgrade it, but in the original game it's pretty much useless.

What do you mean the mass driver is useless??? It is more powerful than the neutron blaster and it shoots farther to!!! A cool cheat for this weapon is if you by it then fire it once and then sell it, you get rapid fire mass driver. And these slugs are immunne to salt too!!!!!!
