Didn't matt burch's website used to have some sort of 3D space battle game?

Yes, it had a link to his website for Exobattle, a 3D space simulator game in which you could fight AI or people over a network connection. It was also open source.
However, it uses 3DMF and he has abandoned the project, that is why he took the link off. I thought it was a great game and would be popular if he just had a gameranger plug-in for it.
I believe he was just tired of all the emails and "crap" (they expected him to provide full support and asked stupid questions) he got because of it... I don't blame him. In my opinion, if someone just spent a little more time on it you could have a space-like Avara.
Hey Syntax, if you are reading this, would you CONSIDER a gameranger plug-in for it?

I spent months fantasizing about getting a team to work on Exobattle and transforming it into a sort of X-Wing using the EV story; adding upgradeable multiple types of fighters and editable missions; it was a wonderful if unwieldy concept. I posted my idea some months back... search for "EV for Exobattle" to find my ideas.
It's still a damn good idea. Anyone wanna help?

The page still exists. Go to yahoo and type in "Exobattle". It'll be the first link. I might put it up on my website, it might increase traffic :D. If Matt didn't mind...
