I feel confident that I could make a Perl script that would allow you guys to submit your own reviews of plug-ins. It would take a while though (well, probably a long time). So, would you guys like to see it happen?

I for one would like that.

I have a feeling that Ambrosia probably could hack UBB to make a plugin review system, if an official system is what you intend to create otherwise, it's a fine idea. Anyone remember the 'Seal of Coolness' from the old site?

Woah, this is a little easier than I though. You can check my progress at (url="http://"http://lightning.prohosting.com/~micah/cgi-bin/plug/review.pl")http://lightning.pro.../plug/review.pl(/url) . You'll notice that weird jibberish, just ignore it. I'm just using that for testing. It can currently add new plug-ins for review, but not much more. I will be doing a lot of work on it. Next up is to add the actual page that the plug-in gets it's reviews posted to. After that, I add the possibility of submitting your own reviews, followed by expanded admin powers. Then it should be ready :D.

UBB is for the web boards only, the addons page uses a script made by andrew, so he can change it if he chooses. Now to get him to do it. It still has some bugs, such as we can't d/l plugs that we haven't approved yet. So we can't check if they are ok.
Micah, if you make a better script then I hope it will be put up. It could be useful.
