You'll need an emulator. It will run like crap, however. But since you are a windows user, you should be used to crap.

Well, duh. But thats true of anything. Like copying machines (when they work). You make a copy of the original, it probably won't be as good as the original. Thats the same thing that is going on w/ emulators; its a 'copy' of the environment of another type of computer (in this case, the environment is the operating system). Environment A is running inside Environment B, meaning it won't work quite as well as it will if it were running in its native environment (well, except Winblows; it doesn't work too well in its native environment in the first place). how do i get the game to work in the emulator? Advenger? :mad: do i just open the game in the emulator or what? and also, the plugins, how do i get those to work? please tell me, (if your just reading this, i have a PC and love this game) i wish it was easyer to play on PC :frown:

If you're using executor it's rather complicated to get it to work but it CAN be done. I've got both a PC and a Mac so I decided one day to see if I could make the jump across platforms. Before you go any farther, I must warn you that it was rather laggy and unresponsive on a Pentium Pro 200 so if your system is worse than that, I'd recomend not even trying.
If you're still interested, here's what you do:
Download and install Executor from (url="http://"http://www.ardi.com")www.ardi.com(/url). It's a demo, I believe, and costs a rather hefty sum to purchase the full version. I didn't use it long enough to discover any time limits but I can say that it appeared rather buggy.
Next, Download the Escape Velocity .Bin file. DO NOT try to open it in executor. We'll leave that to windows.
Go to (url="http://"http://www.aladdinsys.com")www.aladdinsys.com(/url) and download their freeware Aladdin Expander. It can handle just about any compression format on the face of the planet. Once you have that installed, locate the "Apps" directory in the Executor folder and once inside there, find the "Shareware" directory. Decompress the .bin file into that directory and then fire up Executor.
The installer should then be in the "Shareware" directory and you'll be able to launch that inside the emulator. Wait for the install procedure to finish and then locate the game. It should work even if it's rather laggy.

Download executor from (url="http://"http://www.ardi.com")www.ardi.com(/url) 2. Download stuffit expander from whatever site it is 3. Download EV 4. Un zip executor and get into it 5. Un-stuff stuffit expander. You should only have to open it. 6. Open stuffit expander and using it install EV 7. If you have anymore problems, GO CALL A HOTLINE OR SOMETHING!

Virtual PC is really good.People who run it can't tell the difference in performance.Now SoftWindows sucks alot but not VirtualPC, that is good
