EV:3D, reprisal

hey everyone! its me again. i havent been on for a while but im back woth more stuff about 3D version of EV. now, i know that the link im about to show you is for a game that supports both mac and windows, but it cant be helped...not now anyway. go here: (url="http://"http://www.gamespot.com/features/game_evol_p1/")http://www.gamespot....s/game_evol_p1/(/url) and see what i mean. just a follow up on my last attempt to make a topic 🙂

------------------

On the subject of EV 3d. Frontier: Elite 2 (Dos based- yeesh) came out in 1980 something and had the same combat ratings as Ev, the kestrel, the hawk, the Shuttle, many of the same commodities and technologies and the mission computer and bar. So in a sense a kind of 3d Ev existed before Ev itself. How odd.

I have a plan so ingenius even an idiot could devise it. We will line all our ships up and fly straight at the enemy death cannons therefore clogging them with wreckage.

I have to say there's something sacrilegilous about Microsoft beating Ambrosia to the punch - 3d, multiplayer EV literally is the ultimate game. Freelancer's story sounds awfully corny, though; it's even worse than EV's. At least MS has the resources to pull off this kind of thing (server power, I mean, not talent), and they are doing a good thing, sort of. At least it's for Mac too.

You already HAVE a game that's better than EV, and for PC only, now go play Half-Life some more and quit bugging us.

whats up with all these anti-mac guys on this webboard? i mean, EV is a MAC game...figure it out and go away

Champion, one word: Emulator. Spend twenty bucks and you can get a mac to run DOS, and any verson of windows that your little heart desires. Course, for a PC to emulate a mac is either 50$ or a seperate processor...
