I just defeated the bad clavius fleet and landed at clavius but the mission is still there and there are no more ships to kill. what should i do? is this a bug?

It has been a long time since I played Clavius, but I can remember having the same dilemma. I think I tried a few things before it worked out. Try landing on Clavius without firing a single shot, and then leavingto fight. It has been a few days since you posted, are you still stuck?

Did the paragraphs/dialogues come onto the screen on your mission return planet? (to indicate that you had finished the mission successfully) Or are you referring to the short mission description line that appears when you hit your "I" key for your mission itinerary? Also, try hunting around the likely planets for missions to appear at. You might find an explanation there. It's been too long, I wish I could remember specifically what I did!!! Sorry...
