new Ti-EV demo...

Greetings.

I have released a new Ti-EV demo. (for the TI-85). it's avalible for download from ()rion Productions. This demo will work on the TI-86 with Rascall or ASE, too. Just thought I'd mention too that you can move the little sprite around 🙂

have fun!!
although you can't do too much...

A TI-85 probably costs more than my little Quadra 610, and I bet EV's better on my computer.

If you want something like that, buy a game boy.

thanks for your lovely reply.

And the whole point is not "it's better on my computer." I have an iMac DV, so obviously it's "better". furthermore, the ti-85 has the same processor as the gameboy. so, i could take the code i have and recompile it for a gameboy.

on a side note, wouldn't you wanna play ev in math class? c'mon, admit it. I'd like to!!

Hey, i guess i will have to take some more math classes, just so i can play EV in there... damn. i don't like math classes they're too damn slow...

gettin my 85, then an 89. if an 86 would be better, i'll get that instead. but i would definately help beta an 89 vers. maybe even help with other stuff

i need to get my new comp first, tho. i'm down to 100MB in the old 7200...

don't worry about the other guy, he obviously doesn't know how crappy math classes are without calc. games...

get the 86. there's not enough mem on the 85! and i've switched to the 86. I may eventually make a scaled-down vers. for the 85, but in any event, go for the 86.

btw, someone says the demo will crash on an 86... haven't fixed that yet (just a warning)

Same processor, huh? That's pretty cool. I only have an 83, so I wouldn't know. We're very primitive in Australia.

Actually, DammitRussman, I do know how crappy Maths classes are without games. Unfortunately, I spent an entire year learning that playing games in maths class means failing maths class. This year, I only play my calculator in Physics.

Three years and my pizza still isn't here.

Maybe I should call.

This stuff should go on the banter board, not here.

Oh well, while I'm here, I might as well post a little somethin'

The TI-89, which is what I have is definitely superior to everything else although it is quite pricey (around $150). A ton of memory compared to the other TI calcs, better screen res., flash apps and flash ROM (for upgrades)...in math it's pretty awesome too, I'd have to say - helps a lot on those math competitions where it's allowed. It's allowed on the SAT and ACT.

Darn, I just spammed. Sorry!

Oh wait, I can make this semi-EV again - um, how about this - I'd like to see TI-EV for TI-89.

There.

What do you mean, I've got to get a life?

yeah, that 89 thing... I'm gonna try to get an 89 and get a version of Ti-EV on it. this may well be into the summer, at least. But i DO want to do this...

damac, sorry about the short AIM conversation, i had to go not get the new Blink-182 home video. (damn stores...)

Heh, I changed my username. (da Mac)

The thing with the ti-89 is Ti-EV could be written in C (maybe c++) & the file that the compiler outputs could be converted to a ti-89 assembly program. I'm hesitant to do that.
