Aeon Announces New Plug!

Sigh, the measures I have to take to get a post to stay on the board...

Aeon Productions (www.aeonpro.cjb.net) will be working on releasing Blaze within the next few weeks. It appears the Christmas holiday caught everyone off-guard, and most of us did not reconvene until this past week. Still 49 EVO fans and volunteers strong, we hope to move forward with the rest of you in publishing some of our plugs. Phil has been laboring on The Great Expansion, The Aeon Admin team has been busy piecing together Blaze, Call to Arms is in the processes of recusitation, and Councilmen is a step closer to reality.

We are also opening up a little contest to those interested in finding out the answers, or those wanting to make a name for themselves as brilliant web researchers. The winner will be the first to beta test our first pre-release plugin:

The first wouldn't be to hard to figure out, the second, well who knows? Considering alot of people make plugs without releasing them. This is to trivial to even TRY to answer.

29, they don't really name them yet, I think they are still mostly looking thru a mythology book for more names....

None, because most 'new players' would probably be cheap and get tired of it when they start to ask for money. This is an unanswerable question.

Fun fact: The internet doubles in size every two months. That would be impossible to answer, by the time you published that answer, assuming you found out how many and published it exactly as you found out the info, by the time it reached everyone it would already be wrong...

I really dont trust info on the internet, also there is no reason 'why' it feel. Gorbachev didn't stop East Germany from falling, he let in democracy he let in capitalism and he signed (on new years eve) the final fall to his country and Yeltsin became Prez, which explains why he left on New Years Eve 2000...

USA and GB (mostly USA) made a great contibution to the fall of SU.
I really don't understand what they were afraid of. It wasn't

Just for the record: I am 20 years old, out of High School and done with college. I already have a good idea as to what happened to the fall of the USSR, but I wanted to know if anyone else did - seeing as how most of you were barely concious to witness it.

I also raised those questions becuase they are questions a lot of people don't have answers for, or think they know, but the general consensus is wrong.

Actually Mikee, there are 31 timezones. India is actually 20 minutes behind Pakistan, Sydney is 30 minutes behind Western Australia, and various Mid East and Russian Republics and Sri Lanka, and few others are half an hour, rather than an hour, ahead or behind their adjacent neighbors. Why did I bring this up? Because in Times Square they celebrated 2000 with the rest of the world - 31 times.

Yes, there are now 29 planets discovered. 1 of those planets we actually have a picture of (well, more like a solar eclipse of). When Nasa launches Planetfinder, we expect to find many many more.

Now, if I wanted someone to find an answer for my homework, I'd ask a question like this:

What was the only other president (not Clinton) that was impeached, and why?

What was the only U.S. president that defied the judgement of the US Supreme Court, and forced the evacuation of "civilized" Florida indians anyway?

What is the unit circle in trigonometry/calculus?

How many Roman Empire caesars where there?

How many genes are there in the human genome? How many have been mapped so far?

etc... man, I should be a teacher - especially since I came up with these questions out of thin air. I wish I had a college test for social sciences that I could look up and post questions here. Oh well. Back to the original series of questions:

Actually, we have photographic evidence of two extrasolar planets. One has actually shown up in photo. The first on discovered was orbiting 51 beta pictoris if I remember correctly.

Since I have passed two college level courses in Biology and History, I think I can answer three of those questions, whats funny is American Indians were considered animals, but yet your were allowed to marry them... OOOOOOOOK

The Soviet Union fell because of the following
US-SU arms race, strained the Soviet economy
Actions of civilians in East Germany and Poland, scared Gorbie
Threats from all over the SU about revolts, so Gorbie kill the SU before war and chaos broke out

China also noticed what happen there and even had a few demonstrations as well. So the Communist Party allowed capitalism into their socialist country....

The Challanger blew up because it was january (freezing), and as he said there was a part failure and fuel (it was estimated then) leaked out the side, so when boosters were lit the flame travel up the leaking few right into the booster tank.

And the letters are.. 'L' and 'O'. The third one, 'G', didn't make it cause the comps or network crashed.

That is absolutely correct. The word they were trying to spell was "Login" but only managed to get in the L and O before the computers froze.

Back to the original Questions: When Mikee answered that one about Apple's first product, he was off by a few years. According to DK Publishing, Inc.'s "Top 10 of Everything 2000", Apple's first computer (the Apple I) was launched in March 1976. The Apple IIe and Lisa were launched in January of 1983, while the Apple III+ was launched in December. (I bet not very many people have even heard of the Apple III, much less the III+)

On another note, I recently got my floppy drives working again and have also put a 4x CD-rom drive on it. That said, I also got the Quantumire Trilogy from a friend off of a MacAddict CD. (Yes, it runs, but just barely) My question is this: What changes did version 1.0.3 of the Quantumire trilogy make from 1.0.2 (which I have)? 1.0.2 has some big bugs in it. Is 1.0.3 any better?
