Uplink and Darwinia

I play the shareware of Darwinia and Uplink, in the Darwinia you can see out of Darwinia and I was think Darwinia and Uplink are in the same world/Universe is that true?

Probably. Chris, the lead programmer of both games has stated that, in his opinion, Revelation (the virus in Uplink) is probably based on the code from Darwinia, albeit several years after the events that take place in the game Darwinia.
