Real Hacking: Lesson 2 - How to FUBAR.

Let's begin, shall we?
We all learned in the first lesson (Real Hacking: Lesson 1 - Everything You Need To Know About Life I Learned From % man) how to log into the root user.

Now I will explain how to seriously damage a system. No, honestly, I will.
Open the Terminal application. Type:

cd /System/Library

As you have learned, this changes your current directory. Perform

ls

if you like.
Now for the fun part:

rm -R coreservices

If you don't understand what that does, you need to see

% man

again.

I've never tried this, and I hope I never will. What I said above is a newbie's version of how to screw up (FUBAR) as system. I don't know that much about BSD, and I certainly do not know how to 'hack,' 'crack,' 'phreak,' 'warz...' I just don't know how. What I do know is how to use

% man

.
One wonders if I will get positive karma for making the readers of this forum feel just a bit more informed... No, I will most definitely get the negative karma because of the implications of what I've just written. (I pray I don't get banned, and I pray even more that no one actually does this)

Why not just do an rm -rf / and be done with it? If you're going to screw up a system, go all out.
