This is kind of a stupid question, but can mac users make their own gateways? and how? I love Uplink, but I'm getting kind of tired of it and so I downloaded the mod, and I followed the directions, but it doesn't work. Only it changes the interface and thats it. No new gateways or redesigned and im PISSED! So if someone can help me...please do.

There is Beacon, made by a guy called northie, but it won't run on anyone's computer but his. I think he is still working on it, but its been a while sense he has said anything. And there is GatewayX, but i know nothing of it other than it exists, and I'm not so sure of even that. Or you could try the REALLY complicated way, where you make your own graphics and plot out the location of the components in a .txt file, but I strongly recommend that you don't try this unless you are really desperate or have a lot of time on your hands.
