I have recently undertaken the task of tracing a bank transfer. I have hacked into the initial bank, accessed the person's account and looked in the logs to see where the money has gone. I then I hacked into the other bank and found out who the money went to, etc.
I sent a reply to the employer once I identified the person, but they sent me an e-mail saying they dont think it IS that person.. and they want me "to verify my results". I do not have the slightest clue what it is I am supposed to do in this situation and any experienced advice would be most appreciated.

I may very well be wrong. But i think that you don't look for the account the money went to, but who transfered the funds. So you have to work quickly and hack in to the banks admin area and look at the logs, the account that the money went to is rarely (or never) the person's who transfered it. Once my account mysteriously got 6000c and i then did one of these missions and it lead to me.

Welcome to the boards. I think your problem is you didn't send them the person's name. Highlight the e-mail and type the name and it will appear under "Additional Requested Information." Should work now.

I believe TheBruse's answer is more accurate.

I think I should have explained the situation a bit clearer. My employers want to know where a supposedly corrupt employee has sent a large sum of money. They specifically asked for the identity of the recipient.
I don't really have to worry about time restraints either.. I have v.5 Monitor_Bypass Thus far I have hacked into the sender's back about 3 times and the recipient's bank about 2 times, yet the mission is still incomplete. When I have time I will try to input the name of the recipient.
Rickton's solution worked.
Thank you very much.

Ah, that explains it.
