Erm... Hi, sorry about not posting for a while. I had problems with my computer.
Anyway, here's my problem: I had the first gateway you get. I had proxy disable v. 5.0, Firewall disable v. 5.0, basic file programs, password cracker, Log Deleter v.5.0, HUDshowtrace, A turbo 200ghz processor, and I ALWAYS bounce first through InterNIC and I ALWAYS delete my logs. i.e. Password authentification accepted, 127.0.0.1 routed to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. I hacked a bank, (bouncing first through interNIC) by using the "trace a recent balance transfer" mission to find a rich account no. I hacked the account no. and found the name. I then completed the mission after deleting my logs within 10 seconds of disconnecting. Then, armed with an account No. and password I went into the account again. I quickly disabled the proxy server and transferred 700,000 credits to my account. Within 10 seconds, again, I had deleted my logs. I checked my balance, and began to browse the Uplink Internal Services markets. I was toying with the idea of purchasing a trinity for the heck of it, and then my screen turned black and I was notified of my capture!
Caught? What?! :mad: (P.S. I really am being accurate about the 10 secs thing)

You have to delete the logs in Uplink International Bank saying that stuff got transferred TO it as well :). Hope you have a lot of bounce points. By the way, a gateway ALPHA may have just a little too much stuff oon it bearing in mind what you said there. Try a Am-Core File Server (The best gateway in my opinion.)

It happened again! Same situation as before, except this time I deleted the transfer logs as well as my normal logs! And I can't even edit my user to resurrect him 'cos redshirtx doesn't work for me! I believe that there is a bank hacking tutorial on the net which is easy to find with google, it might be on that "Ultimate uplink guide" but I'm not sure. If I remember correctly you have to delete your logs on InterNIC, Uplink International bank transfer logs, AND the transfer logs on the account that you stole from.
P.S. I haven't posted for months, maybe almost a year, I am only on the boards because I came up with a new signature. Like it?
