stock market?

I have faintly heard about the stock market. i have seen the site on internic but did not no what to do with it. does it come with a mission? do i have to access it to get the mission? do i have to wait untill it apearse on the job site? what is it and what do i do with it or what can i do with it? thanx

You could ignore it throughout the whole game if you wanted to. But, there are many advangtages to it. Once you make an account, you can add to your trace routes for a even longer time to hack. Each time a companys mainframe goes down or something that ruins them, the value of their stock goes down, so if you know what your doing, you can manipulate the stocks
