Can no one answer this FAITH question??

Hi, I searched the forum for an answer to this but I can't find it. I've installed the Revelation Tracer program and can see the IP addresses of the computers I'm supposed to disinfect, but I'm assuming they are the same ones flashing red on the map.
So, when I try to connect to them, install and run faith etc., I can't connect. Clicking on the red square is not connecting me like it usually does.

Also, when I enter the IP addresses in the window, nothing comes up...no name,,,says IP address not found when I run IP_probe on it...any ideas?

I'll need confirmation from others as well, since I've only done this mission once and was to engrossed in disinfecting rather than noticing details. Aren't the red spots really just machines that got destroyed?
If not, well, I remember one machine getting toasted while I was trying to get to it, and just had to abandon that cleaning job. I let a mainframe go away since I really didn't want to hunt for a voiceprint and public access server.

If you can't get to ANY of the traced places, well, I don't know. I remember sneaking (but in my rush, it had the subtlety of a sledgehammer) into the affected places as if they were any other spot.
I also haven't failed that mission, either; I don't back up my agents.

Maybe mrxak can help fill in some more details on that mission.

/edit Another idea--how are the versions of Faith and Revelation working out? I don't know how they stack up against one another if the versions are really close or if the other program outclasses yours./

I remember that after Revelation trashed Arunmor's server(MaidenFlight), it glowed red, so try to copy Faith to the ones not infected, so Revelation cannot spread to them. And yeah, the program versions might help.

Red flashing dots indicates an outbreak of the ARC virus, commonly known as Revelation. Your tracer program should also indicate which servers have the virus. If you have a lot of servers bookmarked, it should just be a matter of clicking on the red dot, and connecting. However, if you do not have the infected server in your bookmarks, the red dot will indicate only the location of the server, and is not actually something you can connect to. In order to connect to such servers, you will need to enter the IP given by the tracer program into your IP lookup program, which you should get if you don't already have. The IP lookup program will create a bookmark for you, thereby allowing you to connect to the infected machine as you normally would. If you don't have the IP lookup program but have a lot of bookmarks already, it is still possible to beat Revelation, but it will take longer and you will only be able to use Faith on the servers you can connect to already. You should always be picking your battles anyway, by sticking to weaker servers you can break into quickly. Those servers that you don't run Faith on will eventually be destroyed, thus ending the virus at that server, but it will spread to a few others when that happens, so any server you don't clean up with Faith means more trouble later.

Ohhhhhh; IP (/B)Lookup(B/)... the whole IP Probe thing was throwing me off. Sorry about that; I could have been more helpful if I remembered that.
I have many moments like that after tests and assignments where nothing less than a vigorous forehead slap is warranted.
