I looked in the help menu on the Uplink Internal Services site, but it didn't tell me exactly how to bypass firewalls using the bypasser. I have all the necesarry software, but I don't exactly know where to put the icon and everything. Help!

Put it on the firewall "lock" picture. The light will then turn from red to green.

Hrm...well, that's all well and good...but the light doesn't change. And strange red moving lights surround the Monitor, Proxy, and Firewall lock icons. At different times, too. Does this mean it's protected by all three??

For the square of running dots, I don't know what this is. Anyway, if the version of the bypass is lower than the version of what you want to bypass, then your program won't work (the red light won't turn to green).

That's the monitor checking up on the the three systems. If you bypass the monitor, the red dots will go away. If you don't bypass the monitor, but bypass something else, the monitor will eventually notice, and start a trace.
I was having probs getting bypassers to work also. Then i searched and found a previous posting that solved my problem which is:
when you select your bypasser it is attached to your pointer ( an arrow on my Mac ) and click on the icon that matches the display on your connection analyser.
( this assumes that you have started the connection analyser first. You have bought the "HUD_ConnectionAnalysis" software haven't you? )

I have (or had, since I got caught) bought the Connection Analyser, and what you guys say makes sense. I just today bought and registered the game and have started over. We'll see what happens when I get in that situation again.
Don't forget to 'copy' your "Users" folder periodically so you can then rename the copy to User and start at the point at which the copy was made... (hope this is not too obvious)
