Is it impossible to get more than 7 of the special missions completed?

In answer to your question: No. You can only do one storyline per agent (5 missions) in addition to the 2 special missions.

In other words, searching helps you get your answers quicker, if they're already there, but posting a relevant question is not a grievous crime (at least not on this forum). We could use the traffic in any case.
