I can get into the Darwin LAN via the modem, but I cannot get to the locks that guard the mainframe, I can only force 2 of them and the third isn't even available yet to do that. I don't know what to do, I also cannot get into the one terminal that is connected to the other 3 via a subnet. I cannot find anything wireless on the LAN map, and if there is, I'm not getting any chance to find the frequencies on any of the terminals. Please help!!!

There may be a "back door" modem to connect to. Look around for clues in the various computers.

I'm already in on the Darwin Modem, and so that's not a problem, unless there is more than one modem, and if there is, nothing in the terminals let me know their numbers. When I connect to either of the three sub-net terminals and enter the password, all they say is that I'm authorized to be on them and not to engage in any illegal activity, there's no okay button or anything else, so I can't get beyond that screen. If there is something on that 4th terminal (the one connected to the three sub-net terminals) I cannot get to it because I cannot connect to that fourth terminal, it just won't let me.
Another thing that may clear things up a bit, is that I've forced open two of the locks on the system guarding the central computer, but, the third lock is not connected to anything by any link (I've probed everything that is unlocked), and the third lock has no graphic symbol, all it shows is a yellow dotted line with nothing inside. I've scrolled left and right, up and down to find any wireless transmitters, but there are none. And all the terminals are useless because I cannot access the one terminal that has the other three as its sub-net. Again, the three on the sub-net do not have any information for me. Pretty please help.
Are you using LAN Spoof on the 3 terminals (valid subnet) you mentioned? If not, you must spoof them into thinking you are part of the system before you will be allowed past them to the fourth terminal.

Once you can connect, the LAN should be easy. I'm looking for tougher LANs, but I haven't registered Uplink yet, so I can't use mods. If you're wondering why, look (url="http://"http://www.wanfried.com/george/george.html")here(/url) for the reason I'm not registering. I really want to, it's a great game, but I hear you need a credit card or something. :frown: <EDIT> Hope you can beat the LAN! </EDIT>
