You will always be caught. I have now lost several agents to that place. The last agent connected through many jumps, didn't get active traced I then uploaded the revelation virus to the file server, started the virus. I deleted my logs at Internic, my first jump, quickly. A passive trace should have been impossible. The LAN was destroyed. It was in the news Soon later I was caught. There were no traces possible, active wasn't able to catch me in time, passive couldn't have gotten in time. It is impossible to hack that place. STAY AWAY!

mmh, this LAN has been the first one i hacked. And you know what ? Three month later, i'm a Techno-mage, with a 3 million Gateway, and no systems can stop me.
Are you sure you've been caught by Sample Company and not someone else ? Try logging with your disavowed account, it'll say who caught you.

I checked afterwards, it was definitly the Sample Company LAN, said so for how I got caught. And I know it isn't hust that I suck, Iv'e easily taken down the ARC LAN a couple times, no problem, did the same to Hummingbird's LAN, no problem. Only been caught by Sample Company LAN.
Good News! I figured out what I did wrong. There were modems on the LAN. Because I could not find these modems on the map, I connected directly to them by the list, that way I could find them on the map. Connecting to the modems caused an active trace, which i stopped with a quick disconnect, then a very quick passive trace, one which I had no time to prevent. So that is the problem. It is safe to connect to this LAN, just doesn't EVER connect DIRECTLY, a jump through any server will do. in fact, never directly connect to the modems at any LAN, for any purpose, losing the game just ins't worth it
