The Uplink Developer CD contains only the code for the Windows version. So no, it doesn't work on the Mac.
Out of curiosity, is whoever owns the code for the Mac version going to release a developer CD like that one?

As far as I know they have no plans of doing so. Perhaps someday they will.

Introversion owns the code to all versions of Uplink. So far IV has no plans to release the MAC source code seeing as how it was just release a few months ago.

You've got a mistake in that... the or symbol (||) has a space between the two parts; gcc won't compile it. Cool ASCII art, though! (EDIT: I see why now... why does the boards convert that symbol?)

And to say something on topic, I hope they eventually sell the Mac code, but not for a while (so Ambrosia et. al. can still make a good profit).

This is off topic, but...

Yes. I know there is a space between the | and |. It's supposed to be a logical or operator ( || ), but every single time I try and edit my signature, it puts this space there. I guess it's a reserved symbol for the boards or something. Anyway, the art it prints is sort of a Serpiensky basket. It's done using a simple rule that's based on whatever the three cells above each cell are (from Wolfram's A New Kind of Science).
