ARC going nowhere

Alright, I have read the information on the board on the ARC string. I understand that you have to accept the mission as soon as, or someone else gets it. I have tried this repeatedly but the the password is said to be invalid, plus i don't know how I am already supposed to have a decypher and voice analiser at this early stage. Could someone give me a detailed guide as to this first part of the string. Cheers, all advice is much appreciated

If you're talking about the top agent's password, then that's how it's meant to work. Just try to use it and log off (you can hack the server if you want, but it's not necessary). In a week or two you should receive an email from ARC about it.

I had a decypher and voice analiser by then, I also had the best hardware all round you can get with the unregistered version and about 1 million credits to spare, I hacked the bank and stole over 1.2mil. Hacked in, copied all encrypted files, decrypted them then found out I still couldn't read them and deleted them, haven't waited a week yet. BTW do you think this game is worth the $25 of registering, do you have to register to complete the plot?
