Greetings players, I just downloaded...I've done a few missions....quite a good game. Got a few problems, thoguht
First and most important: The game run infuriatingly slowly. Turning the color down imporves it, but it looks hideous. Aside from getting a better machine (real, as is Mac), any suggestions?
Rather silly: I can't figure out how to get rid of stuff in my memory. at the moment, I can't do copying missions.
Also infuriating: I have two missions involving breaking into the Acedemic Database. When I enter a name, it simply scrolls through all the names, then stops. I can't modify any information.
What I have, aside from the standard: 100 Ghz processer upgrade Password breaker Trace Tracker IP SIfter (probably not the right name...how do I use that?)

Deleting your files: Click on the Hard Drive button and use the file deleting program on the files that you don't need.

Play with the resolution, and the color (8-16-32 bits)

As said, the file_deleter. and use the file_copier to move you program. Usefull with big copy missions.

Erase the text in the box before entering the name. (esc) clear the selected field.

Good start config. Just one problem: You don't have a log_deleter. It's essential for covering your hacks and not being caught. Buy one quickly.

I do have the log deleter, just forgot to mention it. It doesn't seem to do much good, I still get the login revoked. But I don't get an email saying "You have been hacking into our computers" Gee, as if I didn't know...
If they track you when you're connected, you get a mail with a warning, a fine, or you're jailed. Depend of the target. If you don't erase the logs, they make a passive trace (they look at the logs) and around one day later, they catch you, your uplink account ir revoked, and... Game Over.

So I should go back and delete the ones that I didn't?
You must just break the chain of logs. Deleting only one log is enough to prevent anyone from finding you. Oh, i forgot to tell you something about the hacked account. It get revoked if the active trace is too long. More than 50% of the trace done and the account is revoked.

ohhh...okay. So I should give myself more time than need if I want to keep the account and not have to use the Password Breaker every ****ing time.
ANd the correct anme is IP Lookup, not IP Sifter..what does that do?
The IP_lookUp translate an IP adress(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) into a name and clickable link in your list, while the IP_Probe scan a given IP adress and send you a mail with which security are on the target.
