Before anyone tells me to use the search function on this web board or to go to modlink.net or to search on Google for help for my questions, I have done all three and I still have trouble with LANs.
I am on the main story and have to break into ARC's LAN. First I use the Firewall and Proxy Bypass both at the highest level, then I open up the LAN screen and use LAN Scan v3. Then I use LAN Probe v3 to see what's on the LAN.
The problem is that sometimes I get a connection from the router to the hub but usually I don't and since I do the same things every time I don't know what is causing this difference. The one time it worked I was able to break the password on the first log, use LAN Spoof v3 to get past a subnet, and then was unable to connect to the very next Authentication Server. I have written down what to do exactly so unless I am misunderstanding the guides I am completely befuddled on what to do.
I am using v1.3.2 of Uplink and the only mods I am using are themes but this problem happens whether or not I use the default theme or one that I've downloaded from modlink.net.
Any help would be very appreciated.

You need to use the probe on all of the parts of the LAN to show their connections. Does that solve your problem, or am I misinterpreting what you're saying?

I do use the probe on every party of the LAN although it's always possible I could be repeatedly missing one. If anything needs a zoom in and zoom out, it's the LAN screen.
So I need to use the probe on every single part before the lines that connect the parts show up? I thought the lines would show up after probing each part.
Update: I just tried it and it still doesn't work. Used Monitor/Proxy bypass, ran scan, used probe on everything and still no lines. I even tried using the spoof and that didn't work.
