Well GatewayX isn't finished just yet, but it's looking mighty fine, and I decided this one's worth a bit more testing than my last two projects. So this is a call out to anyone interested in testing the first beta.
You could be interested in making some gateways, you might wanna get in on the ground floor of the biggest Mac Uplink project yet, or you could just like beta testing But every tester who reports a bug - or even smooth sailing sans bugs - will get a note in the credits.
(edit=Oops, forgot!) If you don't know already, GatewayX is a simple drag-and-drop utility that makes designing your own gateways fun and easy. No more painstakingly looking up coordinates- just drag those CPUs where you want them and save. (/edit)

I guess GatewayX is gonna be a tad delayed, as I have two or three semi-large projects and one final essay to write basically today, then next week is finals. But fear not! For it shall be completed.

I guess it's gonna be delayed even longer, as my AC adapter broke and my laptop is essentially a paperweight.
On a side note: What is it with Apple and AC adapters? In my immediate family, adapters we've lost (and had to replace) are one (old) Powerbook, one G3 Powerbook, one orange iBook and one white iBook. In addition to my current one, which is the replacement for the previous white iBook adapter. And every single time it was the wire from the adapter to the laptop worn out either at the plug or the adapter. This is, like, since 1999. I dunno.
There's no ETA on a new adapter, but I'd roughly say a week. Eerm

I'm currently writing a theme editor for Uplink , that alllows you to change most of the colors ingame. Its called InterLink and is currently in beta 1. I didn't want to announce it yet , but since you mentioned it I might aswell inform you. Expect to be hearing from it soon.

The replacement ships Monday and arrives in 2-3 days, so look for beta 1 to be out Sunday/Monday.

Right now, I really don't have the time if I don't have the ability. It's only sort of finals now, I'm just a bit really sick, and a mere tidbit utterly sleep deprived. I don't think this is worth too much effort ATM.
