As I finished downloading Uplink, I had begun unstuffing the .sit file as one would usually do, when it stopped at about 10% complete, then it just quit. So only about 10% of the files were decompressed. Strange eh? I might have seen this before once and I think that that file was corrupted. Is this file "okay", is anyone else having this problem? Thanks! ~Meo

Are you using Stuffit 7.0? If so, you might want to try a newer or older version. It's had lots of problems. Also, I may be the only one but downloading off of Safari doesn't generally work very well for me. I use Internet Explorer for that.
Safari works great for me. Stuffit is most likely the problem.

EDIT: I just downloaded version 5.5 of expander off of Aladdin's site. It's SO much faster and stable. It seems as if aladdin's software just keeps gettin worse and worse over the years... sigh

That seems to be my experience. I keep all of my old versions just in case ;).
Since this seems more Stuffit-related than Uplink-related, I'll move this to Just Tech.
