I just found the Uplink Credits Server by (honestly) wasting my time in the worst way possible:
I noticed that the uplink ISS and Test machine are 128.185.0.8 and 128.185.0.4, respectively. I typed in every 128.185.0.x value from 20 down (my luck...), and found the Credits Server at 128.185.0.2!
Chances are I'll be flamed for being a n00b, but I noticed it wasn't in the UplinkGuide.pdf, and while I'm sure other people have noticed it, how come it isn't mentioned in the UplinkGuide? Is there a way to "access" this server some other way, such as finishing the game, or a hidden easter egg?

It probably isn't mentioned because they don't think they should bother you with boring credits, and if you really wanted to, you could find them yourself.

Ah crap! I knew i should've checked there before making this thread.. but it was a little late.. and... damn it.
I don't know about y'all, but I've found that NO ONE can trace you through it. I've gotten the Map Tracer thingy and was hacking into the Criminal Database, and it just stopped there. My time went from 43 secs to 0, and just stayed there. It was pretty cool. Ever since, I've had that as my last bounce, and no one has traced me. Ever. Just stayed at 0 secs, like before.

Really... have you ever been passive traced through it?
There are some servers that you shouldn't be able to be passive traced through (in reality, like Personal Computers or Joke Servers), but i guess they have to make it possible to be passive traced through any server, otherwise it would really unbalance gameplay.
I haven't deleted any logs in at least 3 days, game time. In other words, no, I haven't been activly traced. At least, not yet. I've got about 2.5 million credits from hacking banks. I've been doing this for awhile now, and have had no passive traces. I'm probably gonna use this user for experiments, since the game has kinda lost its fun. Worst thing is, I haven't registered! In time, though... oh well.
This is probably a bug, there probably shouldn't be any servers that prevent you from being traced in the game. That would seriously off balance gameplay.
