If you want to make the tracking last longer then, you should include places that have high security and are hard to hack in the call bounces. in order for them to trace you they need to hack into the other systems to check logs to see where you went. does this help you? good luck

If you bounce through a system where you have account access (admin works best), the time to trace will be longer.

When I read these forums, I don't think people explain things nearly as clearly as they should.
There are two general ways to give yourself more time. The first is to add more relays to your connection. If you have already gained an account or the admin account at a relay, it takes a lot longer for them to trace through that server. You can tell on the map if a box has a dotted box around it, you have an account. If it has a solid box around it, then you have an administrator account. Try to bounce through as many of these as possible. When you feel you still don't have enough time before they trace you and still have a number of relays, connect to a low security server through relays, hack the password and then disconnect quickly. You will have admin access there, and by routing through there you will get more time.
Second, there are certain servers (Social Security, Academic, and Criminal databases) that have a "readwrite" account that you can use without having an active trace start. If you have a HUD_ConnectionAnalyser, you can buy a "Monitor_Bypass". To use this, open the analyser, select the bypass from the software, and put it on the button labelled "Monitor". This makes it so the server won't notice if you do try to hack a password. If you hack the "readwrite" account, no active trace will begin, unlike the admin account. However, chances are you don't have the money to get these items, so stick with the first method.
