Okay, so I got the email from AxMurderer saying that he was already dead and stuff... he gave me a login/pass for the ARC Mainframe. When I bounce to the ARC Mainframe and try to use his given passwords, it says Invalid. If I crack all the other stuff (voice, elliptic), and use my Password Breaker to login as admin, I don't see anything of any interest. Whats the point of him giving me his login if it doesn't work? Am I missing something here? Thanks, Tommy

OK you should hack in again and leave your logs??? (Not entirely sure on this one I read it somewhere) then you should recieve an email from ARC. However I hate Uplink so you should wait until this is confirmed by someone who bothers to play it.
P.S My agent was called Maniak not AxMurderer (Irrelevent Information)

You should try to use his name/pass - you won't get in, but you will soon recieve an email...

Thanks for the advice.. I've tried using his login a few times. I got an email from ARC asking me to join them but I don't want to. There has to be the other way to go. I think I found something interesting in the logs about those Relavations files he was talking about. Maybe I'll get an IP Lookup deal and follow that up. Wish me luck. Peace. -Tommy

There is. Reply to ARC's first email and just wait a while...
Just wondering, if you don't accept that ARC mission, do you miss out on the storyline altogether? I didn't to it this time 'round, and I think I may have missed my chance....
When I got that email, I didn't get a login or password.

Yes you did, it dosn't show you the codes in the eMail, but if you go to the ARC login screen, it will be under "known codes"
------------------ Trust is a weakness -Officialy been waiting since may 9th for mac version uplink (Yess! It finally came)
Hmm mine definately had the codes in the email.. and in the Known Codes part of the login screen. But they don't work anyways, so no matter. Am I correctly assuming that this game is slightly like EV as in you can choose which path you want to take? I'm off to play again to find out if I can get away with not working for ARC... wish me luck.
You have to agree to work for ARC. Reply to that e-mail. Shortly after, you will get your choice.
I tried to trace the hacker from ARC but the trail ran into a Public Access Server... anyone know if there are logs on these?
