It seems the Windows version of Uplink can either run in full screen or inside a window. Could the Mac version do that? (or if it can already do it, how) (since it's supposed to be a feature for feature and bug for bugs port)
That would allow Mac players with multiple monitors to actually use the multimonitor option.
Thanks in advance.

SlaVitiCkus, did it ever run in full screen at some point or did it always run inside a window? are you using MacOS X or MacOS 9?
ok... crash course me in MacOS never used it, i aint clever enough. but can you add commands to shortcuts of progs? if so, add -graphics_fullscreen to it... if not, there SHOULD be an option in the MAIN menu somewhere (im pretty sure...)
soz if this dont help :frown:

I'm using OS 9, it always was in a window, 1024x789 resolution
I don't think full screen works in the OS9 version. It never worked for me, even if I try to change the setting in options. I'd like to try it in full screen, though...

Oh I see. I'm using MacOS X 10.2.x and it's in full screen mode with apparently no options to be in window mode.
There is a full screen option (not selecting this should make it run in a window) in the Options->Graphic Options menu in the game.

I wonder if it's possible to start Uplink from the Terminal? If so, I've heard that -graphics_fullscreen is the flag for running windowed.

Fullscreen doesn't seem to work in OS9. Which kind of sucks, because it would probably be faster that way on my old machine.

Full Screen will only work if your chosen resolution (in Uplink) matches that of your computer. I'm pretty sure this is how it works, as I've been messing with it a bit. For while I was stuck in window mode EVEN with full screen checked in OS X. I think the resolution can be a little smaller, but not bigger than your screen's.
