Was wondering what the command lines are that you type into the Admin panel within a server to destroy them.. I rember reading them around here before, but a search didnt turn up anything for me.

Well to avoid making it too easy, the idea is to delete the OS and then shutdown the system (I generally delete all the usr data as well). To find the specific commands try the "help" command in the console.

In terminal use this list :
cd usr delete cd log delete cd sys delete shutdown
cd log isnt necesary, I never delete it.

Whenever I return to a computer I destroyed, it seems to be up and running. Does the owner just reinstall the system software?

but to be fair... with like 60 seconds trace, you can delete everything on the server, twice over... when uplink gets a bit dull (it will at some point, but still playable), try to see how close you can have it to them finding you hint: its about 17 seconds for the shutdown process alone it's fun! im sad! i know

indeed, but if you take twice the time deleting it, you could of been making twice the money with 2 missions...time is money!

Indeed, I have over 4 million, but hacking banks makes it too easy. I only hack banks to up my rating and get better missions.
yep, but destroying mainframes does it better, your not tempted by the money unless you do the same as the people at the beginning of Sneakers

I got lately busted (just to see the stats (backed up the user files first)) and saw these stats :
Money : 10mil (doesn't go any further, I have 10.8mil...) Level : TERMINAL Compromised High Security Systems : 68 Destroyed Systems : 37 Lives Destroyed : 17
Also finished 3 bonus levels, waiting for another one though... maybe thats somewhat more difficult to complete then killing sytems, and destroying lives...
No cheats at all used for this... Just a modified gateway...
