Does this feature work on the Mac?
It has something funky as my IP address and it doesn't do anything when I clock on start server or connect to server (after entering the IP of one of my computer running Uplink on which I clicked start server)
not sure about the mac version, but this is "luck sod you got it working" on the best of days for most people on windows it probably aint your fault, just not great code. it was meant as a little extra bit, nothing big, which is a shame...

I have had to fool around with the IPs to get it working. When you click on start server there should be a little message saying "server started". Then you should be able to click connect to server on a networked computer (has to be on LAN with the server computer).

What do you mean by fool around with the IPs?

Sometimes you have to manually enter the IP address on the server side, client side, or both.
Do you enter the actual IP address, or localhost, or the funky address displayed under Local IP on the server?
Are you using MacOS 9 or MacOS X btw?
Thanks for all the info.
I don't have a Mac network so I haven't tested it personally, but from what people have been saying it seems it works like the PC version (which is to say not very well). Basically you have to play around with the different IP variations. I don't think the local host will work, but some combination of the others should. I had a bit of a spot with the connection at first, then it all of the sudden decided the default setup was good enough.
What is the purpose of the multimonitor thing anyway?
